Propex has signed a long-term strategic partnership with Experian, Europe's leading business information provider, to develop on-line facilities together for property clients.
In addition to its core investment marketing, registration and database services, the new Propex platform, currently being developed, will offer Propex clients a wide range of additional information services, drawing on Experian’s global database of international business information, company credit opinion, Goad street-trader plans and news.
Experian’s broad European coverage is a key factor in the extension of PropexProfessional on a pan-European basis. In a recent survey, 70% of the Propex Investor clients reported that they now have active requirements to buy property across continental Europe.
"The new platforms will take the best elements of PropexProfessional, PrimePitch and Shopproperty and give users a faster, more flexible and usable information source for the future," said Paul Marples of Propex. "The agreement with Experian underlines acceptance in the market that web-based services now play an important role in helping property professionals get better access to information, and deliver better service to their clients”.
Experian’s involvement, through its provision of Goad, the street-trader plans, has already been used to good effect in the development of the Shopproperty.co.uk retail website of available shop units.
